Help Me Read My Book

I have a surprise for read-along-ers!

Hi friends! It’s high time I went back and read Love in the Eternal City in detail again, and I would be delighted if you joined me! Seriously, please come give me moral support because reading my own writing is starting to drive me nuts. :D

My beautiful friend Lizeth Kreucher has set up a book club on the Fable app, and here’s all the details you need to get started. (This doesn’t affect my Substack at all, by the way, I’m adding rather than replacing.)

We’ll start August 3, but Fable’s book club function is entirely asynchronous.

Each chapter gets its own little chat room, so everything stays spoiler-free and you can read at your own pace. I’m going to aim for about 4 chapters a week for my own purposes, since my chapters are super short and I want to pay extra attention to what’s going on with Rianna and Oscar in the background.

Or, download the app and create an account first, then go to Clubs and search for Virtuous Fluff by Lizeth K. Click “Join Club”, and you’ll be all set! Lizeth and I are in the process of building out some more milestones and chat rooms, but we’ll get everything ready to go by the August 3 start date!

(Kudos to Fable for letting me send them a Table of Contents and adding it to the book record so that we could have the chapter-by-chapter setup!)

Once you’re in, share an introduction, a book recommendation, or just dive right into the chapter discussions.

I have epic friends, including people who have far more artistic talent in their little finger than I have in my entire body. I commissioned one of those friends, Regina Terreri, to make an image of Beni and Elena, and I am so incredibly excited to share it with you!
